A letter from Deaf Sports Australia (with code AU2) for the Hearing impaired classification is to be sent to the School Sports Unit at least 14 days prior to the State Championship. The governing bodies, classification categories and how classifications are verified are as follows:Īthletes must be listed on the Master List (AUSRAPID or Athletics Australia) for Intellectual, Physical, Vision or Transplant classifications. 13 Year’s – 18+ Years all run – 3km)Įach Multi-Class athlete must compete in their association uniform.Įach Multi-Class athlete must have at least a national provisional classification by the governing body to compete at the state championship. To be eligible to compete, a Multi-Class athlete must meet the following criteria.Įach association will be eligible to enter 3 competitors per event, per gender to compete at the state championships.Īll Multi-Class athletes at the secondary level will run in a combined event over a distance of 3 km for all ages. This notification must be made to the state convener, no later than two weeks (14 days) prior to the date of the championships. (l) An athlete who does not compete at the NSWCHSSA Championships may only be included in the team, if he/ she is competing at a National or International Track and Field/ Cross Country/ Triathlon or Mountain Running as part of a recognised ANSW or AA Team at the time of selection and has given prior notice to the state convener / selection panel requesting consideration. (k) ISF school team runners will wear a different colour number. (j) Individuals competing in ISF school teams will also be representing their association and consequently counting towards association point scores.

(i) Protest committee to consist of: out of stadia umpire, state convener, plus one other. (h) All protests must be lodged in writing to the state convener from the team manager within fifteen minutes of the conclusion of the event. (g) Spectators and coaches are not allowed to run alongside a competitor at any time. Applications for these positions will not be accepted. (v) Two (2) more athletes may be selected at the discretion of the state selectors to make a team size of sixty (60). (iv) 18/19 years up to the fastest six (6) times from the 18+ years age division (iii) 16/17 years up to the fastest eight (8) times from the 16 and 17 years age divisions (ii) 14/15 years up to the fastest eight (8) times from the 14 and 15 years age divisions (i) 12/13 years up to the fastest seven (7) times from the 12 and 13 years age divisions (f) The NSW All Schools Secondary male and female teams are selected to compete at the SSA/AA Championships as follows: (e) The first three individual placegetters shall receive medals. (c) Competitors must have their association number clearly displayed on front and back of team shirt/singlet. No competitor can turn 20 years in the year of competition. Age is how old a competitor is as at 31 December in the year of competition. Competitors in the school team event must be 14, 15, 16 or 17 years of age in the year of competition and will compete in the 17 years event. With the exception of ISF schools team members. Competitors must compete in their own age group.
